Our Projects
At Rahman Charity Organisation (RCO), our projects are designed to uplift vulnerable communities, restore dignity, and create long-term impact. Each initiative addresses real challenges faced by families across Uganda and offers practical, sustainable solutions. Below is an overview of the key projects we implement with the support of our donors and partners.
Ramadan Feeding
Ramadan is a month of mercy, charity, and compassion. Our Ramadan Feeding program provides iftar meals, food packs, and support to fasting families, ensuring they observe the holy month with dignity and ease.
Masjid Construction
We build and renovate masjids to provide communities with safe, accessible, and spiritually uplifting places of worship. Each masjid becomes a centre for prayer, learning, and unity.
Orphan Feeding
We provide regular meals to orphans, ensuring they receive proper nutrition, care, and love. Every meal distributed brings hope and comfort to vulnerable children
Qurban Sacrifice
During Eid al-Adha, we perform Qurban sacrifices on behalf of donors and distribute fresh meat to poor families. This act of worship brings joy and nourishment to households that rarely get meat.
Zakat Distribution
We distribute Zakat funds to eligible beneficiaries, including poor families, widows, orphans, and the elderly. Our program provides financial aid, food packs, and small-business support based on Islamic guidelines.
Sponsorship Support
We help children from poor backgrounds access education by providing school fees, uniforms, books, and learning materials. Education is one of our strongest tools for breaking the cycle of poverty.
